How do you become a Christian Soldier?
First you must become a Christian by praying the Sinners Prayer. Which is:
Father God Almighty, I believe that Jesus Christ is Your only begotten Son, and the He came to earth in the flesh as a man and died on the cross to pay the price for all of my sins. I believe that He rose again restored to life on the third day by Your mighty hand, to give all who believe Eternal Life. Then ascended into Heaven and sits at Your right hand.
Lord Jesus, I confess all my sins to you and ask that I be forgiven and washed clean with your blood that you shed for me on the cross. I receive You as my personal Savior and Lord of my life, and I rejoice for now I am counted among your flock. Praise God.
Then you must be Baptized both in water and the Holy Spirit.
After this we each must realize that we start within ourselves. After all, Jesus said "We must remove the board from our own eyes before we can see to remove the speck from our Brother's or Sister's eye." Matthew 7: 3-5. What does this mean? If we look in God's Living Word Galatians 5:19-26, we can receive the answer to this.
Which is - we must conquer our own sinful nature. The Bible says Sin Nature is: Sexual immorality, impurity, debauchery, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, discord, jealousy, rage, selfish ambition, dissension, factions, envy, drunkenness. These things not only are sin they are also the very things that keep you in the chains of bondage, and can even prevent God's Blessings from you. They bring destruction, and death to those that can't let them go. (Lovers of Iniquity.)
GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVICE:
A dedicated Christian Soldier constantly looks for them to shed these from their lives and replaces them with the Fruits of the Spirit which are: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self Control. No one can call them selves a mature Christian if they live a sinful nature. For our Lord Jesus did not have a sinful nature ever, and since the very word Christian means: Christ Like we must live for a Fruit of the Spirit Nature. If we truly want to be a dedicated Christian, and therefore Christ like. Look at your own life and be honest with yourself and you will find your way, if you are truly sincere and never forget that Jesus Himself always lived, walked and spoke a Fruit of the Spirit Nature to everyone that came to Him.
